Cherry Kitchen

Here is a table runner that was created Kim...It is for a kitchen that has a Cherry theme. It is colored so that it can be used for the holidays or anytime! It is quilted and I added the cherry ribbon as an extra touch!

Finally Finished

This was the first quilt I ever started...I never finished it. It had been sitting in my closet for the past 8 years and I finally finished it! It is one of my favorite quilt and I love the colors.

Memory Quilt

I made this quilt out of fabric that was left from Chris' grandmother that had passed away. It is a scap quilt utilizing lights and darks. It was given to Chris' mom as a Christmas gift...and it was filled with memories.

Maddy's Summer Fairies

This is a birthday cake that I did for Madison's 6th birthday. She requested a fairy cake after seeing the other fairy cake that I did. I chose to do the background colors in bright summer citrus colors.

Arial view of the cake.

Another shot of the entire cake. The pics are a little grainy because I forgot the use the flash.

Here is a new bug with different colors.

Another cute bug.

Hoe-Down Cake

This cake was made for a 6 year-old's birthday. The theme was a hoe-down so I went with more a farm theme for the cake.
This is a view of the cake from the top. When I arrived at the party to set up I actually put a cupcake with a horse on the top.
Here is a sheep.
This is my personal favorite...a chicken/hen with its eggs.

And of course there were horses...complete with horse-shoes.

Panda-Monium

I found these Panda Cupcakes in the book "Hello Cupcake." Riley picked them out and we decided to give them a try. They came out really cute and they weren't too hard to make.
They were supposed to have Oreo-O's as their ears but the store doesn't carry them anymore so we went with half a mini oreo.

Breezy's Fairy Cake

What more could a five-turning-six-year-old want? This fairy cake was one a big undertaking but it was so worth it. The fairies and bugs are made of fondant. It is funfetti-type cake with vanilla frosting. The entire thing is covered with green-grass fondant and leaves/flowers. Cupcakes were covered with bright purple, pink, and blue fondant to match the fairies. The letters were cut out with cookie cutters.

This is a blue fiary with blond curly hair.
A catapillar and a little blue bug.
A purple fairy
A pink fairy....I think that it was immediately named Breezy
A butterfly and another catapillar.

I wanted to practice making models with the marshmallow fondant and the gumpaste. I am making a fairy cake for a little kid birthday party next month so this is what I made tonight! It came out pretty good.

Beach Bash Birthday Cake

Here is a beach cake that I created for a 22nd Bithday Party! I was asked to make a "Beach Cake" for a chocolate lover! The top layer is chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. The bottom layer is dark chocolate with chocolate frosting.
This cake is completely edible except for the shells (which I got from a craft store). It is complete with graham cracker crumb sand! I loved using the marshmallow fondant!

JoBeth said, " Oh my goodness! This is so much more than I expected! When we said beach cake and you said you had an idea.... wow this is amazing! I love it....really love it!"
